My Style Secret: Scott Wilson
Since first casting my eyes upon his exquisite designs and striking aesthetics, Scott Wilson’s jewellery has remained a permanent fixture in my wardrobe. His pieces are always individually inspiring and beautifully made whilst lending a creative accent to any outfit.
I first met Wilson several years ago and fell in love with his designs, so much so that I managed to persuade him to create a bespoke silver-dipped feather tiara for my wedding.
When not producing catwalk pieces for a who’s who of fashion designers (Thierry Mugler, Hussein Chalayan, Matthew Williamson, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Givenchy and Burberry to name a few) Wilson works on projects and one-off commissions for the likes of Repetto Paris, Absolut Vodka, Lindt, MAC, Nicole Kidman, Kylie and Madonna.
As he explains, ‘One-off pieces are the ultimate expression of my work.’ It is in the personal touch that keeps clients coming back for more.

For his Spring/Summer 2011 collection, Scott Wilson continues to work in the bold geometries and dramatic proportions for which he has become well known. However, in the spirit of the season, Wilson has emphasized colour, affordability and fun, playing with found objects and fusion forms to create a desirably eclectic collection.
Gold and silver tubes and tube chain have also been carried over from last season, combined with stud chain and pendants bricolaged from faceted Swarovski stones and vintage findings.
The collection, being slightly more affordable and youthful than previous seasons, provides an excellent opportunity for a new audience to discover and enjoy Scott Wilson jewellery.
