Her Royal Highness is the President
of the Department of Welfare for Women (LKPIM) which prides itself on giving welfare and support to women. In addition, she is a patron of the Society of Sri Kencana Kalsom (YSKK) which provides shelter for single parents and women who have been victims of domestic violence.
Family is of prime importance for the Sultanah and remains a continual focus, adopting a hands-on approach in the raising of her son whilst maintaining a supportive role to her husband HRH Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang.
