Known for her glamorous feminine style and creative flair, businesswoman, award-winning designer and sought-after brand guru, 32 year old Lisa quickly established herself as the rising femme fatale of design. Her diverse background has afforded her experience in all aspects of creative branding and design.
A Devonian, born and bred, Lisa came to London to pursue a Masters in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins. During the course of her academic research, the demand for her creative flair and commercial acumen became apparent as she developed relationships with a series of prominent design agencies in London.
Echoing the meaning behind her Chinese name “To Sustain Excellence”, the pursuit of creative excellence was always at the heart of why Lisa chose to go solo.
Within six months of graduating with a string of design awards to her name, she realized her dream of establishing her signature design agency in 2005, when Lisa Tse Creative Consulting was born.
"I have always believed creative thinking was critical to breaking boundaries and realising the true potential in a concept" she states, "I embrace the notion that your imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge will get you from A to B but your imagination can take you anywhere."
At 29, Lisa was head hunted for the role of Global Creative Director of the Body Shop, a position which she decided not to pursue in order to focus on her own personal projects.
"My father was an important inspiration to me and always encouraged me to be the master of my own destiny. You decide for yourself what you will go on to do. I was taught that endless opportunity and the full potential of life rested in the palm of my own hands."
Lisa’s agency works with a diverse range of partners and clients around the globe.
Projects have ranged from developing a bottled tap water in New York, launching a brand of £100m villas, collaborating with Kevin Spacey’s Tunnel 228 Underground Installation project, and working with former Dragon's Den star Doug Richard on his new course for entrepreneurs.
"I value integrity and reciprocity in business..." she asserts, "...and I believe we would all be more fulfilled if there was more kindness and understanding in each day."
Lisa Tse is engaged in a growing number of commercial activities, developing new ventures and opportunities with partners and collaborators around the world.
One of these activities is as Co-Founder of Opus Artz, a digital art studio for the entertainment industry. Opus Artz studio works with clients including Sony Computer Entertainment America and EA and developed concept art for the much anticipated Bioshock 2 release and Deadspace 2 as featured on the cover of Playstation UK magazine.
Lisa has always been a dedicated supporter of creativity and women in business. She founded The Sorority in 2010 to celebrate style and femininity and to nurture and sustain a collaborative network of excellence made up from the inspiring professional women destined to shape the future.
" I do believe we have to BE the change we wish to see the world" she says. "It is my passionate commitment to realise a vision that will inspire and support women around the world."
The Sorority has attracted support from a wide range of women from around the world including industry leaders and royalty.
Lisa is also committed to supporting creative enterprise in the design industry. Lisa has lectured and worked with students at Central Saint Martins College, Brunel University and Cambridge University's Judge Business School.
In August 2008, Lisa represented the British design sector on an official Trade Mission to China to coincide with the Beijing Olympics, as part of which she was a speaker at the Creative Day hosted in London House, Beijing by Lord Digby Jones and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
Lisa was nominated as a Champion in the Addidi Inspiration Awards for Female Entrepreneurs launched by the Independent on Sunday in 2009, celebrating outstanding businesswomen of the past and present.
